OSHA 10 HOUR TRAINING

OSHA 10 General Industry training is primarily applicable to people working in manufacturing operations (1910), as well as those working in warehousing and distribution centers, most service industries, and the medical professions. There are a few mandatory topics that must be covered in the OSHA 10 general industry class (also known as the OSHA 10 hour general industry outreach training course), such as an overview of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and specific sections on walking and working surfaces (including fall protection), exit routes and fire prevention, basic electrical, hazard communication, and personal protective equipment. The balance of the 10 hours can be customized to the needs of the audience, and can address topics such as, but not limited to, lockout tagout, confined space entry, bloodborne pathogens, and material handling (including cranes or powered industrial trucks).

OSHA 10 general industry training classes can be conducted on location for a group of students. The training class can be delivered on weekdays or on the weekend). On site 10-hour classes typically involve a mixture of audio visual presentation and lecture, supplemented with applicable handouts and reference materials.

Students who complete the entire OSHA 10 hour course general industry course will receive the OSHA 10 hour general industry safety and health training card. These cards, which don't expire, are proof that the student completed the course. Students are typically presented with a certificate from the OSHA trainer as well.
